Hear that? That’s the sound of me being a happy little boy, because of the best new shows from last year is back with a second season. Yup, Charlie Crews and Company (hey, does that qualify as an alliteration?) returns with Season 2 of LIFE, and of course, also back is the gorgeous Sarah Shahi, once again playing tough as nails (but surprisingly very vulnerable) detective Dani Reese, a woman doesn’t take crap from anyone, and looks just as good as she is tough. Did I mention tough? And hot? Sarah Shahi is both of those things. Here she is in some LIFE Season 2 promos.

Why look, it’s the girls of Showtime’s lesbian-theme TV show THE L WORD. Yes, that’s right, all of them. Well, most of them. I’m sure most of them are here, but since I have never actually seen the show, I’ll have to just assume that. Present and accounted for are Jennifer Beals, Mia Kirshner, Katherine, Moenning, Erin Daniels, Laurel Holloman, Leisha Hailey, Sarah Shahi, and Pam Grier. Sarah Shahi and Jennifer Beals are just gorgeous, and the rest aren’t so bad, either.

I have very little hope that Sarah Shahi’s new cops how, “Life” will stay alive long enough to even finish its first year on network TV. It looks like a great show, and it’s got a marvelous cast including Sarah Shahi and Damian Lewis, who I have loved as an actor ever since he did “Band of Brothers”. I’m glad he’s finally found another project, because it’s a damn shame he hasn’t worked as much as he has ever since that brilliant mini-series. I hope “Life” lasts, but I’m not crossing my fingers.
