If you want to do challenging TV nowadays (i.e. one of those very uncomfortable shows that pretty much never offers you a happy ending, and is more liable to depress the hell out of you after every episode), you go to the FX Channel. Which is where Julianna Margulies, former ER star, went to star in the law drama CANTERBURY’S LAW. The show is produced by Dennis Leary, so this thing will probably be pretty bloody depressing.
